2022 Events

We held our 6th annual Walk on May 15th.  Super excited to announce that we donated $8477 to The Baker Institute for Animal Health from this year's Walk!!!  How amazing, it is our largest Walk donation to date.  Thank you to all of our supporters, donors, sponsors and participants.  We are already planning next year's Walk and hope you all will join us again - and bring your friends and family. 

Santa was EXTRA generous this year and did 3 rounds of pics with pups...and rats, and even a rooster!! Giving opportunity for multiple areas of community to take part, we are grateful for Santa taking time from his busy schedule to spread some holiday cheer.

On September 26th, Kyle's anniversary, we held a special fundraiser in AltSpace. The amazing @Sparrow_vr volunteered her incredible art skills to donate a sketch to anyone donating +$95.  It was a very successful event yielding not only funds but some new followers of Kyle's Legacy.

On August 28th, Kyle's Legacy officially launched a world in Virtual Reality on the AltSpace platform. There were 150 people in attendance on the opening night.  We spoke about our purpose, our mission and our intentions for spreading awareness and raising funds in VR.

Event to benefit the Hotel for Homeless Dogs RI at Goddard State Park. The day included food trucks, music, vendors and more! Costume parade and contest was so fun to watch.  This was a great networking event to spread awareness.

Barktoberfest at Bar-A-Mor in Newton MA Drinks, food, costume contest, and lots of fun all supporting animal welfare groups Schultz’s Guest House, Project Samana and Kyle’s Legacy.

One of the biggest events of the year in Attleboro!! Hosting 80+ vendors and several hundred attendees!!! Great venue for spreading awareness all to benefit Friends of Attleboro Animal Shelter

The 2nd annual Jr’s Barktobefest at Debevino Winery was a night of wine flights and dog costumes hosted by Jr’s Paws For a Cause. Proceeds benefitted Medfield Animal Shelter and Kyle's Legacy.

 Plymouth’s Bark in the Park Festival featuring over 30 pet-friendly vendors, many adoptable dogs and lots of activities for both the 2 and 4 legged members of your family. This annual event attracts people and their dogs to browse vendors and raise awareness for local rescue groups, and non-profits. 

 Super cold temperatures, Gail force wins, broken tents, and merchandise flying off the table literally! But we braved the elements and had a good fundraising effort, spreading a lot of awareness.  

Divine Consign & Boutique hosted (2) successful private fundraisers for us! Lots of shopping to support this local business and our cause! This event allows us to share our mission and get the community involved.

 June 29th & August 10th at Bar-A-Mor in Newton, MA.  An outside patio dining area turned into a dog-friendly space that holds regular Yappy Hour events. These events are designed to benefit dog welfare organizations. Jr's Paws for a Cause has partnered with them to hold awareness and fundraiser events to benefit Kyle's Legacy and Project Samana and other local shelters. 

 Jr's Paws for a Cause annual run/walk was more than just a dog friendly 5k, it benefitted Project Samaná, rebuilding the Natick Organic Farm and Kyle's Legacy.There was a live DJ and local vendors, and lots of opportunity to spread awareness and network.
